The continued rise in the world's population is the greatest problem faced by humanity at the present time. What are the causes of this continued rise? Do you agree that it is the greatest problem by humanity?
In today's world, it is beyond all dispute that overpopulation has become one of the significant issues of humankind. There are some factors contributing the prolifiration of people around the globe. In this essay I totally agree that this problem is the greatest obstacle that the individuals are confronting with.
There are a variety of reasons that have led to the rise in the world's population. One of these is that nowadays the medicine have almost reached its peak and it is certain that the multitude of people in many countries are being treated with the modern medicine. Consequently, the rate of deaths is dropping year by year. Another is that as technology is improving, the Internet access is available in most countries. With the assistance of the web, many individuals are getting more information about how to refrain from dangerous activities or cure their illnesses with traditional medicine. In India, for instance, many pregnant women usually avoid doing heavy tasks such as washing and most of them are having heathy childen without difficulties. In contrast, formerly many Indian females used to die while giving a birth.
It is beyond a shadow of a doubt that overpopulation is the dangerous problem that is making many concerned about. This is because many other global problems such as shortage of natural resources, famine, global warming and other problems exist today as a result of the increased number of people. To illustrate, the demand for the natural resource can surge on condition that many people live. In addition to this, providing that millions of people consume several products, many factories have to function everyday so as to fulfil people's need or wastes of products have to be disposed into water or burnt. This phenomenon can easily lead to other problems such as air pollution, water contamination or even deforstation.
In summary, it appears that medicine and modern technology can be the main reasons for the prolifiration of human beings. I think overpopulation is the most crucial issue of human race and it should be taken into account seriously in every country if they wish to outperform other global problems
