I received this email:
Quality control procedures are in place to protect the integrity and security of the IELTS test. From time to time, therefore, results are looked at as part of the routine quality assurance checks carried out by the IELTS Test Partners. Your results are being withheld as part of these routine checks.
Please note that it is specified in the declaration signed by candidates on the application form that results may not be issued on the 13th day after the test date.
We will complete these checks as soon as possible.
WHY ME ?????????????????????????????????????????///
what are reasons?
how much time It could withheld?

Hi Saqibali,
I know this must be frustrating for you, but I suppose it is a needed part of the process to ensure integrity is upheld worldwide. Let's hope it doesn't take too long!

I received the same email saying quality assurance and terms and conditions and fine print and what not. Which is weird. Because if they really want to randomly audit some test results, why can't they do that within the same 13 days time frame?
Also, I'm assuming the extra scrutiny will only lead to reduced marks ... I don't like this at all.

I got 6.5 in all, except speaking where I have 7, making my overall 6.5
I have to retake
Any suggestions please?

I don't think this is the case, Adam. These sorts of checks only ensure you are getting precisely the mark your language deserves. I would imagine that the vast majority of scores aren't altered one way or the other.

Hi saqibali,
It looks as though you are on the cusp of 7. Keep pushing that grammar. Understand the logic behind the new grammatical structures you come across and apply these structure to your own writing.

Just got my results:
L - 8.5
R - 8.5
W - 8.0
S - 7.5
Overall: 8
I don't know what to think, I guess I need sometime to process this... But I know I'm not happy with my speaking score at all
