Please assess my writing task2-protection of minority languages

As language such as english, spanish and mandarin become more widely spoken, there is a fear that many minority languages may die out. Some countries have taken steps to protect minority languages.What is your view of this practice?
With the wide use of some majority languages such as English, Spanish and Mandarin, many people worry that some other little well-known languages possibly go extinct. Therefore, in order to conserve these minority languages, a number of countries have taken actions. In my opinion, I think that this practice is a positive step and should be encouraged.
It is well-known that languages are one of essential parts of cultures, if one language dies out, the beliefs, values and traditions of this culture would disappear with the death of the language, therefore, protecting the languages, particularly for the minority languages, is necessary and extremely vital to keep the diversity of the cultures. Additionally, because of the importance of these little-known languages, any actions and strategies should be encouraged and supported. However, this method alone is not enough to ensure that these languages will not die out, other approaches should be taken into consideration.
The possible method is to encourage local people from these minority languages background to speak and use the language during their daily communication. With the widespread usage of other majority language specially for languages, a number of local and native speakers from these less-known languages are not willing and happy to speak their own language, resulting in that the population of speaking these minority languages become less and less, which is considered as one of vital reasons for the death of one language, if the local people can be encouraged to speak their own language rather than English, It would be extremely beneficial to protect these minority languages.
In conclusion, any actions and practices to preserve these minority languages should be encouraged and supported. I do hope that more and more countries can take steps to perverse these minority languages, meanwhile individuals also should join in the queue to make efforts for it.
