The pie charts provides information about the money spent by a specific UK school annually in 1981, 1991, and 2001. It’s obvious that teachers’ salaries consumed the largest amount of money while insurance has taken small part of the school budget each year.
In 1981, the teachers’ salaries had taken 40% of the total amount of money spent by the school. In 1991, they increased to 50% but they dropped to 45% in 2001. The other workers’ salaries had occupied 28% of the school budget in 1981 however they went down to 22% in 1991 and dropped again to 15% in 2001. The resources in school such as books and furniture and equipment of school had consumed 15% for each one from the school total money. In 1991, the resources money had been raised to 20% while furniture and equipment decreased to 5% only. In 2001, resources money fall down to 9% only while furniture and equipment money went up to 23%. The insurance money was only 2 % in 1981 then grow up to 3% in 1991 then raised again to 8% in 2001.
Overall, most of the school money was spent on teachers’ and other workers’ salaries.
