I will be very thankful if you do me a favor and assess my writing.

You have bought a mobile phone in a tax-free shop just a few days ago, and it doesn’t work properly.
Task: Write a letter to the manager to complain about it and ask him to solve the problem.


Dear Sir/Madam
I am writing to express my dissatisfaction about the mobile phone I purchased in your store 3 days ago. Unfortunately, just after making two or three calls, problems started to appear.
The first problem noticed was the body overheat. After just a few minutes of talking, mobile phone body gets so hot that causes my hand warm and make me feel uncomfortable for the rest of my call. I discovered another problem when trying to recharge the phone battery. The power socket does not fit well and this makes the charging process inconsistent and too long.
Naturally, I returned to the store and asked for a replacement. You can imagine my feelings when the assistant told me these problems are out of your guarantee commitments and the model I purchased suffers from mentioned problems.
I am very disappointed with both the product and service I received. Therefore, I expect a full refund of $1200 as soon as possible.

Dear Noman Ali,

I am writing this letter for complaining against a product i recently have purchased from General Electrical Store (Eden Garden Branch) Lahore. Last Sunday i purchased automatic washing machine for my house usage. Before purchasing this machine i have gone through the advertisement placed in General Electrical Newspaper section of newly launched products, I have personally found the features provided in this new version of product quite impressive. I compared other competitive product to compare offered features and advantages which i can gain with General Electrical products.
I have found ITP7 4500 washing machine impressive against other competitors and purchased, but unfortunately when i operated machine few of the features which were advertised are not working the way i was expecting. If i have to brief the problem i would go in steps as given.

1. The machine is producing number of noises when plate moves around to revolve clothes.
2. Machine back body not offering belts to fix that against the wall or on basement the grip are not stronger so it may stick with ground and stay static.
3. Machine timer is not working correctly, time at machine LED showing 30 mins while it stops after 15 mins and set the time to default.
4. I have found leakage in exit pipeline when i had to spill waste water.
With General Electrical store i always have higher hopes as i am fan of using your company products from LED TV to most of my home appliances.

Kindly arrange your technician visit to my home, i will be looking forward for your cooperation.
