What is the worst thing about preparing for the IELTS test?

What do you hate about preparing for the IELTS? What problems do you have that you can't find help for?

For me, it's hard to gauge my writing - I just don't know if my essays are good enough.

Yeah, I can imagine it would be really hard to know what band score your writing is at before taking the test. I think the IELTS does a good job with their band description sheet, but writing will always be a little be subjective.

Yes - and sometimes regrades might change etc..

It's true that grading writing can be subjective. But I think mostly because when you write, you tend to dive in your way of thinking and it's really hard to see what is wrong with what you've written.
