Q. You saw an advertisement for a tennis course in England but you have one or two problems and can’t stay the whole course.
Write a letter to the course director. In your letter:
explain your interest in the course
describe your problems
find out if a refund is possible
A.
Dear Sir/Madam,
I am writing to you in response to the advertisement for tennis course. I have been looking to engage in an outdoor sport for some time now and I feel tennis will work for me. I am interested in taking up this course but wanted to check up on one thing before going forward.
I am a practicing lawyer and visiting faculty at St. Mary's university at California. Since the curriculum for the law degree program is planned in advance, my lectures dates have also been confirmed. Unfortunately, for me, my lecture dates start towards the end of the tennis course. Due to this overlap, I would not be able to complete the tennis course and I would have to miss the last 4 sessions of the course. I hope this would not be an issue and I can be accommodated for the course.
I also wanted to check if there is a refund policy for the missed sessions. Looking forward to hearing from you.
Yours faithfully,
