Hi gvsekhar,

Some of this response sounds familiar. I'm glad to see you are putting the exercise into use.

I think your pacing is quite good. You don't speak too quickly. You pause naturally between sentences. These are the positives.

What you need to work on is polishing your accent. There are points where mild incoherence sets in, which can be devastating to a speaking mark. Please see the public IELTS Speaking band descriptors for more information on how you will be assessed: https://www.ielts.org/PDF/UOBDs_SpeakingFinal.pdf

It's hard to give you an idea of the mark you will receive for two reasons. Firstly, the excerpt you've shared is very short and is modeled solely on a response to only one of the examiner's potential questions. Secondly, I am aware that parts of the excerpt were pulled from my online speaking exercise, so I can't be quite sure how well your natural speaking is. This short piece displays band 5 and 6 qualities, so I'm going to go with band 5.5.
