Some people think that children should have some classes outside their schools, visiting local companies or public enterprises for some real life experience. To what extent do you agree or disagree? Give your opinion.
There is always a constant debate over the education approach for children, especially when there are people argue that certain lectures should be conducted outside of school area like visiting factory or local organizations. Although there are a number of people prefer conventional teaching approach conducted solely in school, I believe that children should also be given the opportunity to do their study outside of the school territory.
One of the main reasons is that children are able to learn quickly and better by visualizing. By interacting or get involved in real life tasks such as visiting public places or private corporations, it stimulates a person’s learning ability and improve his/her memory. In this case, it is easier for a student to absorb the activities into their brain and prompt their interest. For instance, visiting a local company would give a student a sense of in-depth understanding on how a corporate world looks and operates in a day. Furthermore, these knowledges are usually not available in the books hence it will not be taught in a normal classroom lecture.
However, some might find it irrelevant for children to have their classes outside their schools because these activities will not help them in their academic studies. For example, children are often seen loitering around the corner on a factory visit trip rather than paying attention to the tour guide or the surroundings or some of them or some might even take this opportunity to skip school to avoid the public visits.
In conclusion, although there are downsides for new teaching approach, I believe that the importance of education should not be neglected, instead the government and citizens should collaborate together to achieve effective methods or implement new education system for the futures generations.
