Young people are much more aware of and concerned about issues like the environment, poverty, and animal welfare than previous generations. What is your own opinion?

Youth, nowadays, are more aware and educated about the current issues that are related to climate change, poverty and other issues related to animals protection than their counterparts in previous generations.

School education is playing a major role to educate students about the current issues which protect our environment and the resources on our plant. They, for example, are giving lessons and lectures about a variety of topics about how to protect environment and save the animals lives. They also are being taught about poor countries and some nations in need for assistance to survive. So they will be willing to support them through charities and voluntary appeals. Many educational institutes are encouraging students to do research using the internet and write reports about such issues. Furthermore, news and media are another source of keeping people updated about the current events that are related to natural disasters and problems facing global resources. News about hurricanes, tsunamis and volcanic eruption that are nearly happening each year and they covered in full depth on hourly biases whenever it occurs. Take for example, the tsunami that hit Japan few years ago and it caused of destroying of three nuclear electricity plants. Moreover the new generations seems that they develop a self-conscious behavior towards environment through several ways to keep where they live clean and healthy. For example, they are becoming more concerned about rubbish collection and recycling.

However, human are still the major destroyer and consumers for the plant resources and the main cause for environment harm. Take for examples, those countries which do not oblige to international treaty by not taking any serious measures to reduce the carbon dioxide which reaches high level and start to harm the ozone layer. Another example is the illegal fishing and killing the wheels in the sea of Japan.

To sum up, environment and resources on our plants are two valuable possessions for all mankind. Therefore they should be protected and preserved by all the means to the upcoming generations.
