Many institutions support the idea of introducing food chains and supermarket by adverts and even opening franchise in school locality.personally I disagree with this trend and oppose the unhealthy methods being launched for our upcoming youth.
There are several reasons for my statement.firstly companies advertise their products by putting banner and billboards.Even sales person pays a visit to schools to publicise their creations.undoubetedly with such environment,a child can only think buying new things which looks attractive to him.by saying that I mean he is more likely to grow in being a materialistic person who persuades his parents to buy him unhealthy food,expensive materials and glittery products.
Similarly with the want of all these things he can be a problem for impoverish families who are working hard to afford the expensive education of their child.secondly with such adverts and even food franchises in school premises reinforce a child's taste in eating unhealthy food like burgers,French fries and other high cholesterol foods.the worst effect of which is more likely to attract a child to eat such mouthwatering savouries,by which a child is more likely to develop obesity from a very young age.consequently many parents are worried as this disease is the root cause of many catastrophic medical conditions like hypertension,diabetes and heart problems.a study in uk suggest that the average rate of such diseases have increased in the past few year which is related to the amount of fast food consumption from a very am early age.
Furthermore the child who indulges in food and Worlldy desires to own expensive things grow up to be materialistic and his health holds his abilities to perform well in academic and other curricular activities,due to which many psychological conditions are evolving these days.
Admittedly,commercialisation can benefit a financially strapped school by building library and sport facilities in school.infact many corporates helps a school in raising funds which a school requires to grow.
All in all the advantages this commercialism provides is likely to flourish the foundation of schools but the detrimental effects associated with it overweighs them all.As these children our the upcoming generation of our society which will help prosper our country in future.
