The modern technology is all making things easily available. Internet has provided us the easy downloadable versions of most books we need. Can internet world replace the world of books and words? Give your own views.
Given the scenario these days, technology, in my view can definitely replace the world of paper books. People these days are highly technical and most of their work is done using technology. Ipads, kindles, tablets, high end mobile phones, desktops, computers, all of these are internet enabled with bestest of services from telecom providers, be it a wifi or an advanced 4G technology.
With a lot of books already converted in ebooks, and a growing market for ebooks is a clear indication that this market will flourish at a good rate in near future. The best part about the ebooks is that they are not bulky as paper books and can be taken anywhere easily. They can be read at ease and at one’s own comfort. Additionally, there are other external resources available to store the excess data if your device’s memory is full like the hard drives which can save more books. So, space constraint is not an issue in digital world.
Even children these days are taught on computers in developed countries making children more tech-savvy. Though older people may find it a little difficult to adapt to the changing times but the new generation and most of the middle aged generations are comfortable with e-reading. Statistics show that even the rate of online news media consumption has increased over years and most of the people who read online are between the ages of 24-45 years of age further proving that the numbers are rising.
In conclusion, I would say that though reading from paper books still has its own charm but the current industry trends suggest that technology will take an upper hand in near future providing better scope for ebooks.
