Should wealthy nations be required to share their wealth among poor nations by providing such things as food and education?Or is it the responsibility if the governments of poorer nations to look after their citizens themselves?
Today, differences of wealth among countries have created an enormous gap which needs co-operation by both, developed and poor countries. This essay is about one of the highly debated topic whether prosperous nations should help the ones suffering deep financial problems.
First of all, it is every government main responsibility to assure food and good education to its citizens. Hence, before every poor nation requires intervention by developed societies in order to get support, it should have tried every possible chance they have had to improve their situation on their own. But, it is known that many nations fail to succeed in their way to transition. Take Albania, for instance. Now it is a developing country, but there were specific moments in its history that the government ran out of options and poverty reached extreme rates, This example makes it clear that if wealthy nations do not allocate their sources other nations can collapse. So, their assistance is fundamental.
Furthermore, we are living in a global world were we are most connected to each other than ever and failures of any country affect us all. It has become in one way or another a sort of responsibility not only to nations but to billionaires to donate to countries in need of aim. I would mention Bill Gates and his wife for example, who donate 95% of their wealth in order to improve education in undeveloped countries.
It is obvious that rich nations, should provide basics like food and education to poorer nations when they are not able to. It is a gesture of kindness that make the world a better place.
