Some people claim that there are more disadvantages of the car than its advantages. Do you agree or disagree?
Since the time of invention, car became an integral part of our life. However, people have mixed opinion on whether cars possess more benefits or drawbacks. To my mind, the advantages of cars definitely outweigh its disadvantages. This view can be supported by analyzing how comfortable as well as convenient the cars are.
Firstly, cars give people a freedom of movement which makes it a more comfortable way of travelling. For instance, one could travel his/her destinations without spending much time to wait for a public transport. Therefore, people could save a fair amount of time compared to other modes of travel. Now, it is clear that why it is suggested that cars have more advantages than disadvantages.
Secondly, cars are designed in a way which is suitable for the use of a family. For example, journey in public transport such as in train is difficult for people who are accompanied with children. In such situations, cars offer parents to travel with their children more conveniently. From this it is evident that car journey is more convenient.
To conclude, by helping people to travel destinations quickly and effortlessly, even with their family, cars provide many positives to the public. So, this makes it clear that why the argument stating cars have more negatives than its positives is not welcomed. After analyzing the subject it is advisable that like a coin has two faces, everything including car has some drawbacks, but that should not be overlooked for the sake of our development.
