I have tryied to check the spelling with an automatic corrector. I would apreciate a grammar check and some suggestions to improve this Task 2 to band 7. Thank you!

It is generally believed that some people are born with certain talents, for instance for sport or music, and others are not. However, it is sometimes claimed that any child can be taught to become a good sports person or musician.

Discuss both these views and gove your own opinion.

Nowadays, in or competitive world, people are regarded by their qualities and virtues. Furthermore, it exists a marked social distinction between hard workers and gifted persons. Usually, those who show special talents from their birth are more likely to be considered and promoted. In contrast, I believe that anyone can achieve the same skill level in despite of their intrinsic talent.

It is known that some people born with certain talents in fields as sports and music. For those people, is easy to thrive in their careers if they are motivated and guided. For instance, my former saxophone teacher, Carlos Barrionuevo, was one of those special ones with a natural talent to play jazz music. However, it must be remarked that despite of his fast learning, Patrick would not be the successful sax player he is today without the right guidance and mentorship.

On the other hand, some people have mastered a sport or an instrument without having any intrinsic facility. In my opinion, it is not fair to discriminate hard workers because of their lack of born abilities. Indeed, I believe that they can achieve the same level, or even more, than the aforementioned, gifted people. A case in point is the famous basketball player Michael Jordan. At the age of 14, Jordan was fired from his college basketball team because he was not talented enough. However, he became the best basketball top player of history because of his constant effort, and he is considered a living sporting legend.

In conclusion, history has demonstrated that people can master activities with, and without, having born with talent. Moreover, gifted persons can be less skilled than regular, hard worker people, if they lack of adequate guidance. Because of that, I believe that some people are gifted in some way, but that persons should not be distinguished as talented and non talented, but as skilled and not skilled.
