Some sports are extremely dangerous but many people still like them very much. Why do people take part in dangerous sports? Give some suggestions on how to deal with these dangers
Since the dawn of time, humanity has given much preference to adventurous games. Even in this modern century, people never lost their interest on such activities. At some extent, I believe that personal satisfaction and financial gain could be the reasons for the wide popularity of these games. Risks associated with these, so called “extreme sports” can be minimized by taking some measures.
First of all in reasons for the participation, higher financial reward plays an important role. For instance, it is widely known that the formula one racing has many risks to life; however, the price money offered in this racing sport is pretty higher than in any other sports. So, participants would get attracted to these sports for such a rewarding career despite the health hazards in it. In addition to that, personal satisfaction is another factor which drives many people into this. To be clear, people consider someone who does risky actions in a heroic role. This may also attract many people to do risky performances. These are some of the reasons for increased popularity of risky games.
In order to minimize the risks associated with the extreme sports some measures can be initiated. Governments should build licensing authorities which has all the privileges to initiate strict security rules and supervise whether those rules are carried out by clubs which conduct adventures. Rock climbers association of Kerala, in India, is such an organization, which strictly monitors security measures of people who climb rocks for adventure in Kerala state.
To conclude, there are various reasons for people to enroll in risky games, and governments can minimize those dangers by creating strong regulatory agencies.
