hi
please anyone tell me about the difference between task 2 of academic and gt. as at this stag got confused. i am going to attempt gt on aug2.

Hi Kannu,

Task 2 is very similar between the two exams. According to the test format page at ielts.org, the tone used to compose the General Task 2 is allowed to be more personal in nature. The skills assessed also vary slightly between the General and Academic Task 2. For more info, view the Information for Candidates PDF file.
