Writing Task 2 - GT

Post by paperheart »

Some people say that education system is the only critical factor to the development of a country.
To what extent do you agree or disagree with this statement?

Education has always been seen as a crucial contribution to the advancement of a country. However, it is said that there are other important factors that could enhance a country's growth. I believe that enhancement of a country does not only lie on education structures, instead there are several factors that should work together to achieve this objective.

First of all, it is no doubt that we acknowledge the fact that education is essential to individuals and that includes growth of a country. The reason for this is that people or citizens need to be equipped with relevant and adequate knowledge and skills in order to contribute to the society and hence, the overall economic development of the nation. For instance, country like 'China' is said to be one of the fastest growing countries economically. This is mainly due to the ranges of expertise and experience their people are exposed to.

Nevertheless, there are also other major factors that will help to develop a country. Leadership skill is considered extremely important because it shows how well and capable a leader is to lead a nation of his or her own. Without this, regardless of how advance the education system is, it will not aid the country to go to the next level. Furthermore, moral and ethical principle do play a significant role. This is because a well developed country should be free of corruption and bribery. In order to achieve and sustain this, fellow citizens need go embrace and behave ethically.

In conclusion, education system plays an important role in the development of a country to a certain extent. I believe that other factors like leadership skill, moral principles are vital as well.
