Hi I just took the Academic IELTS some hours ago. Here are some things that I could remember
Listening:
-Music club membership
-Job vacancy in several places
-Travel to South America
-Fossils

Reading:
- Capturing carbondiokside
- Development and advantages of travel notes
- Exercise and health concern, esp in Britain

Writing:
- Table of visit to Australian World Heritage from 1996-2000
- In many cities, shops, schools, offices and homes will be developed widely separated. DO you think the advantages of this outweighed the disadvantages?

Speaking:
- Personal questions i.e.: name, origin
- work
- advertisement that you remember (when, where, about what)
- follow up question: advertisement effects to children and people
- As you answered about consumerism and economic growth, what would you think will be a good way to control consumerism but by the same time not affecting economic growth?
( The last question was a bit hard for me, for almost 40 seconds I just had no idea of what to say, till I thought about raising price of advertisement on TV an also its tax.... I don't how how it will be graded)

Hi pandesumar,

Thanks very much for sharing in such detail. Was the Task 2 putting forth the idea that shops, schools, residential areas and business districts are being developed in separate areas of many cities? Perhaps the question was asking the candidate to comment on urban sprawl?

Hi Ryan,
It wasn't about urban sprawl I am quite sure. I hope I did well. This is my first time taking IELTS.
By the way, thanks for creating this site. Your blog and youtube video help a lot as well.

Best,
Pande

Is the writing task basically asking that these institutions are being built very far from each other?
