Prevention is better than cure.
Out of a country’s health budget, a large proportion should be diverted from treatment to spending on health education and preventative measures.
To what extend do you agree or disagree.

Good health plays a pivotal role in an individual’s life since the dawn of time. This is thus government of developed nations provide free health facilities to its citizen to sustain peace and safety. It is agreed that maximum portions of health budget should be allocated on health educations and preventative measures, rather than treatment. This will be proven by looking at how training people about health fortify nation’s economy and precursor to accumulate better citizens.

Firstly, training people about physical wellbeing catalyse country’s development. For example, many western nations, particularly America and Canada, educate its people about demerits of smoking and excessive alcohol consumption via advertisements. Many people adapt this suggestion and maintain their good health. This leads to gradual declination of number of patients that suffer from cancer due to smoking. As a result government saves health budget and could reinforce it in other elementary development. From this it is quite evident that health education is worthy.

Secondly, educating people about health make them aware about various deadly diseases. Take HIV aids as an instance. An HIV is sexually transmitted disease which cannot be cured. When people are informed about its prevention then they will be alerted at all time and use safety measures to reduce the likelihood of this disease. As a consequence it creates educated and healthy citizens that are well-known about the catastrophic result of disease. It is therefore clear that health training program brings benefits to the whole society.

To conclude, educating citizens about health issues and its preventive methods boost people’s way of thinking and behaving about the diseases. It is thus believed that this is a worthy action, and has to be taken into consideration for the overall improvement of nation.
