For " complete the summary using the list of words/phrases from below" type of exercise, are questions asked in order of information given in passage ??

Hi Ritu,

Yes, Most of the time, It's in order of info. given in passage. It happens rarely that the info.is not in sequence according to the incomplete summary. In my 2 months preparation, I saw only 2 summaries which were not in sequence. Maybe it's, because i'm using several IELTS materials of different publishers. But, In Cambridge books, I didn't see anything like this.

Thanks alot.. I m going to write ielts on 20th Sept..I made the same observation while doing cambridge books..but few days ago I came across ques which were not in the order of passage..it was ielts practice material by Longman Pearson book..so got perplexed if there is any possibility of such questions in exam..In that case answers change
