It can be clearly seen that water used for three main reasons in the period shown and among them agriculture took essential place in water consumption. It is also noticeable that all sectors tend to increased steadily in water use.
Looking information in more detail,Agriculture sector used water 500 km3 in 1900,while water use among other sectors were almost lower.Between 1900 and 1950,water consumption used by farmers increased significantly,compared to domestic and industrial sectors.Since 1950,the amount of water used by agriculture continued to rise,reaching a peak of 3000 km3 in comparison companies and individuals use of water which were slight growth.
Brazil had 176 million people,whereas D.R.C had 5.2 million.This means that water consumption in Brazil had to be condsiderably higher than D.R.C.so that water used to irrigate hand in Brazil (26.500km2) and Congo(100km2).Finally,Water consumption per person in Brazil was extremely higher than Congo,at nearly 359 m3 and 8m3 respectively.
