It is often argued that parents are best teachers for their children, while others believe that schools should teach them how to be ideal members in their society. This essay discuss that despite parents are best models for their kids, well-trained teachers can do this role perfectly.
In the one hand, many people think that children gain most of experiences and behaviors from their parents because they spend most of their time with them. It is also noted that most of child’s attitudes are somehow considered an imitation to their parents’. For example, children for aggressive parents are usually noticed to behave aggressively at a very young age. However, I would argue that this should not be the rule otherwise we will have children looks as copies of their parents with masked personality.
On the other hand, some people presume that modern educational methods may play a great role in formatting students’ behavior. In these new techniques, teachers are trained to deal with different students’ needs with good understanding of various students’ personalities, they are not only looking after academic sciences, but also give a chance to raise morals and sense of community respect. In addition, teachers can enforce these habits through encouraging competitions among peers, this method is always successful in young age. For instance, most schools are running nowadays ceremonies for rewarding good social manners such as best class in cleanness and teamwork. This motivate children to do their best showing their behavior. Therefore, nobody can neglect school impact in raising children.
To conclude, although parents are the main educators for their children, I believe schools can do this role easier.
