Please assess my writing task 1.

The charts below give information on the ages of the population of Yemen and Italy in 2000 and projections for 2050. summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.


The given pie charts illustrate the data about the ages of people of Yemen and Italy in 2000 and the predictions for 2050 as well. The population is divided into three age groups .

Firstly,it can be observed clearly that according to the figures, almost half of the people of Yemen fall in to 0-14 years age group, in the year 2000. The rest of the nation belongs to 15-59 years, 46.3% and a very little percentage, 3.6% were found to be 60+. On the other hand, in 2000 in Italy, the people relating to younger age groups of 0-14 years were as less as 14.3%. more than half, 61.6% were found to be 15-59 years, while a significant number,24.1% were older age group mates.

Secondly, looking at the predictions for 2050, the number of people in Yemen,relating to 15-59 years will increase by 11%, in comparison to 2000 census, reaching up to 57.3%. 0-14 years will be cut down to 37.0% and out of whole the percentage of 60+ persons will still be small, 5.7%. furthermore, in Italy, 61.6% will decrease to 46.2 % for 15-59 years age group, but the strata of society that are 60+ will grow significantly up to 42.3%. however, minimal reduction will occur in the percentages of individuals in 0-14 years, becoming 11.5% from 14.3%.

Overall, the major portion of community of Yemen in the year 2000 was formed by youngsters (0-14 years) and teenage plus middle age people (15-59 years). Contrary to it,15-59 years individuals were the majority in Italy in 2000.

Hello!

Your description of the data is good, but your summary/overview is a little weak. You should include the trends in it.

Vocabulary is good, with some comparative language. However, there are a lot of basic grammatical errors.

Basically, work on the grammar and be sure to include a full overview and you'll have a very good report.
