Speaking about an idea I had at school

Post by Ecro »

Hello,

Here is my speaking and the question that were given in part 2 and 3.

Describe an idea you had for improving something at work or college.

You should say:
-When and where you had your idea
-What your idea was
-Who you told about your idea
and explain why you thought your idea would make an improvement.

Part 3:

Some people think that education should be about memorising the important ideas of the past. Do you agree or disagree. Why?
Should education encourage students to have their own new ideas? Why?
How do you think teachers could help students to develop and share their own ideas?

Ideas in the workplace:

Should employers encourage their workers to have new ideas about improving the company? Why?
Do you think people sometimes dislike ideas just because they're new? Why?
What is more difficult: having new ideas or putting them into practise? Which is more important for a successful company?

Have a great day,
Ecro

Hello Ecro!

Fluency - Good speed. Not many pauses.

Coherence - Very good range of connectives used well.

Vocabulary - Good range. I'd like to hear some specific examples in response to the part 3 questions.

Grammar - Good basic grammar. Some good use of complex structures, but I'd like to hear a wider range, perhaps conditionals for instance.

Pronunciation - Clear with good intonation and a little stress. Very nice!

Overall, this is a good performance and I think it could easily be improved to 'very good' with a little work.

Well done!
David
