My answers for the T/F/NG section of R5, the section was on the World Memory Championship.

Games always held in London -false,
Must be a grandmaster to compete - false
Spelling of random words - not given,
Memory game based on sporting event - true,
Can memory skills be used in daily life - not given.

I think the order I give the Q&As in is correct. I hope my answers were correct for that passage as written.

Not much chatter about R3 task, so here is my interpretation.

The topic was about canteens in the workplace. There were seven questions and the task required gap fill of up to two words.

Fridge (required by legislation),
..Cannot remember,
Protein (moderate amount of dairy and protein required),
Main-meal (serve vegetables as ...),
Gradual change - words meaning this taken from text (time taken to reduce unhealthy snacks in vending machine),
No alternative (reason hungry staff eat healthy snacks).

For the reading test the questions were divided as follows: 8 on catching a bus in Auckland, 7 sending a parcel with NZ post, 6 on work canteens, 7 on how to handle difficult customers and 12 on World memory championship.

I can remember only one answer for R4:
Composure ( customers can gain their ...).

The first three reading passages had a picture - not sure if this indicates the easier passages?

I have loaded a simple reproduction of the map used in L2. Some I am confident about and others I found the wrording intentionally confusing. I did not use points M and E. Points X Y Z were messed up by me.

I remember we had to state where the pool was. But did we also have to give the gym or golf course location. I think I kept all sites south of the road on the left and east of the curved road.

That professor had a terrible voice, failed to make out most of his suggestions. As a result, 25-30 questions were just my guess((

Hi

To answer the spelling question, you have a choice of American or British spelling. If you do not use either, as far as I know it is then given no point. But don't despair.

Okay will be able to provide more answers soon -waiting for computer.

My interpretation of listening 3 task, that is the two students talking to the lecturer:

There were five multiple choice questions with three choices - A, B or C. Then there were five match phrases to the Roman numerals - I remember none of these five!

So my questions 21 to 25 were:
Limited time (reason students joined their project),
Customers (group that was to be surveyed first- the student mentioned about three including supermarket staff),
Price (consumers still choose prodct based on this),
Number of ingredients (of most concern to the consumer - other choice was calory/weight content),
Not enough time to complete assignment (what the students worried about the most).
The order is not quite right.
