It is often said that these sports of movies lead to an increase in car accidents among young drivers as they try to copy what they have seen in the films. Do you agree that such movies increase the amount of bad driving? What can be done to encourage young people to drive more safely?
Answer:
Watching movies specially action movies with violent car chase are increasingly becoming popular among the young generation. The statement which states that due to watching these types of movies car accidents among them are increasing, is a debatable one. I think there are other factors which should be the prime concerns rather than these types of movies.
There are several reasons behind this. At the outset, nowadays, the young people are adequately smart to understand the special effects used in the films. Furthermore, they understand that only stuntmen are capable for doing such activities as well. The main reason for increased car accidents is reckless driving. Moreover, sometimes it is also notified that the young driver cause accident because of being intoxicated while driving. Also, it has been revealed that sometimes, they get driving licenses illegally by giving bribe to the authorities, which is one of the inevitable causes of car accidents. In addition to that, not abiding by the traffic rules properly is another main reason of accidents.
However, some people think that those movies play an indispensable role for car accidents by young people. There are numerous reasons behind this. First of all, celebrities in the film are deemed to be the role models by young people. As a result, they want to emulate them and want to drive like them, which results in accidents. Then, they do not understand that there are special effects and stuntmen in the background of the scenes. They think that the stunt is very easy to perform while there are several examples when stuntmen have died on the spots while shooting for the film.
I think that several initiatives could be taken to diminish these occurrences. At first, they must get the license in a proper way and by giving examinations. Furthermore, parents must be aware of their kids regarding what they are doing. After that, the government must ensure that there are no trenches on the roads. Finally, citizens have to be compelled by the law enforcers to abide by them.
In conclusion, it can be said that, everything has pros and cons. It is our responsibility to motivate our young generation to get the positive effects from the movies rather than involving with those stunt activities. This will ensure prosperous lives for them.
