Graph line Task 1 - Please evaluate this writing for me :)
The line graph above represents the changes of the percentage of Internet usage by the population in the USA, Canada, and Mexico from 1999 to 2009.
It can be seen that the proportion of people who used Internet increased sharply in all countries throughout the period. Overall the SA and Canada experienced the fastest growth in Internet usage, compared to Mexico.
In 1999,the USA started at the first place when about more than 20% of its population had Internet access, followed by Canada and Mexico at 10% and 5% respectively. By 2003, however, the figure for Canada for the first time in the past 4 years, overcame that of the USA by a two-fold increase in the percentage. Mexico also saw a rise in that regard, but less significant, when the figure was about only 30%.
By 2009, the percentage of Internet users was the highest in Canada. Almost 100% of Canadian population used Internet, whereas it was about 80% in the USA, and 40% in Mexico.
Thanks heaps
