However, many have come to argue that it has stopped being influential in twenty first century. While it is believed it still plays a significant role in many aspects at today’s world. In this essay, it will be specifically shown by analysing the aspects of improving international relation and stimulating economy.
First of all, the Olympic Game hosted in a span of every four years provide leaders from different countries a great opportunity to meet up, which to some extent enhances multilateral collaboration and maintain a stable relationship. For instance, China and Japan has being hostile to each other due to territorial disputes, leading a rapid decrease in exchanging bilateral communication. The Olympic Game event hosted in Beijing offered a chance with which high officials from both countries did actually meet up and went through a positive solution in a bid to alleviate the intensive situation.
