I am also planning to give exam (Academic) on 27 Sept in Saudi Arabia.
I would really like to know the Academic writing task1 and 2 topic if anyone from different timezone (ahead of Saudi Arabia) is attempting the IELTS exam.

i've just finished the written part of the exam. listening and reading was rather simple than i had prepared. writing task 1 was about summarising a table on three countries that made cars in 2003-2006. task 2 was recently there are increasing number of people living alone. will it affect negatively or positively on development of soceity and whats ur opinion ? smthn like that. im not sure it will be the exact material, but i hope it will help. im waiting for my speaking test

task 1 about Sydney Airport compared to the year 1930 so far, and the comparison between them
task2 Why does not the government spend money on the arts, such as what is spent on basic services

i think the teacher will be asking lots of random questions depending on how u answer them. i cant remember most of them
part 1 was so random
what do u do?
who was ur favorite teacher?
do u like nature? if so why
what is ur favorite subject etc.

part 2
what do u want to learn the most?
how will u learn it?
and what will u do with it?

part 3
questions about children brought up in a family, parents influence on them
what do u think about modern technology?
there were lots of questions on computer usage and how will it affect youth and seniors

dont get nervous. i think i was too nervous at first that i did poorly on the first part hahhaha. i couldnt even say the simplest thing lol
