Re: IELTS Result Re-evaluation
I took my first attempt on 6th September, and I got L 7.5 R 8.5 W 5.5 and S 6.5. I'm also thinking about a re-evaluation of my writing. I usually write well, and I don't think I deserve a 5.5.

On September 6th I had my first attempt, and I got an overall of 7.0, so I basically failed to pass my personal goal(7.5).OnlineEnglishTeacher wrote:Let us know if as well as passing with 5.5, if you reach your personal goal also .
I got 7.5 on listening, 8.5 on reading, 5.5 on writing and 6.5 on speaking.

Please Grade My Task 2: Government Restrictions on Art

There should be no government restrictions on what they do. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this opinion. My Essay: Creative artists o...

Re: How Many Times Did You Take The IELTS Before Passing?
It depends on what you mean by "passing". The university I'm going to apply only requires a band 5.5, which is really a breeze to me. However, I want to always challenge myself a bit and my ideal score is band 7.5 and above. I'll have my first attempt in 2 months and I can definitely "...

Re: An interesting historic place
Hi, Charmy, No, “repetitive hesitation” is not a correct phrase. You might say, “repetitiveness,” or your “tendency to repeat” yourself. This place sounds amazing! One thing you might clarify is the difference between a pagoda and a pavilion. While the two certainly are different, the average lis...

Re: Please Grade My Speaking: A Book You Read
Hi, Charmy, Your vocabulary was really good here. I heard avid, promotes, perseverance, courage, and many other words. Your pronunciation was clear, but I would point out that misfit is not emphasized on the second syllable. You said, “misFIT,” instead of “MISfit.” Here are some notes: - the only b...

Hi, Charmy, This sounds like an interesting conversation, for sure! We think of conversations as happening face-to-face, but you bring up an interesting point: that they can happen online as well. The introduction to the piece was a bit long. I wasn’t sure where you were going with it or how it rel...

False or Not Given?

Should I memorize common English names?
Do you recommend IETLS candidates memorize common English name? I just tried a listening mock test, and the name needed to write wasn't spelt out by the speaker. So I had to guess the spelling of the name. And I wrote Pool Butt instead of Paul Bhatt. http://www.ieltsnetwork.com/download/file.php?id=...
