Re: Writing task 2. Your comments please.
Hi Oanh, Having read your essay, I found that you are still quite weak in developing logical reasoning. Perhaps you are not familiar with the issue of illiteracy in general. Why don't you try to educate yourself with this matter first before attempting your answer? Besides, it is important to unders...

Hi Damien, Here are few of my comments on your task 1. I am not commenting on your language ability because I feel it is your stronger point. However, in my opinion there is some inaccuracy in your interpreting of data and some missing information. The pie chart and the table describe the causes and...

Hi Allen,
First, congrats on your writing score. At least you know you can crack 7 in writing, which is normally the toughest.
About your speaking score, it's really hard to say...it is possible to have ups and downs and no one can really tell.
I hope you will be luckier next time!

Hello,
I think it would be nice if you have done your research before asking all of these questions. No one could provide you a better answer than resourcing to appropriate authorites.

Your first sentence is more correct although it sounds a bit difficult to read to me. Because you are talking about what already happened in the past, simple past tense is appropriate. The other two sentences are not correct in this context. Please note: to take a shower ---not showers I would chang...

Re: When was the last time you read a book?
Norwegine Wood is my favorite. It's nice to know that you like this book too. But I must say it was quite depressing for me to read it, as most of the characters were going through the crisis of their lives, and few of them decided to cease their lives at such young age. It is the book I would read...

Question: Should wealthy nations be required to share their wealth among poorer nations by providing such things as food and education? Or is it the responsibility of the government of poorer nations to look after their citizens themselves? “Give a man a fish and feed him for a day: teach a man to...

Nowadays, I am reading a wonderful book called "Rich dad, Poor dad" by Robert Kiyosaki! It highlights the different attitudes to money, work and life of two men (i.e. his titular "rich dad" and "poor dad"), and how they in turn influenced key decisions in Kiyosaki's li...

Hi Lilycup, First of all, there's no pass mark in Ielts. Second, it is not the end of the world, if you don't get the score you targeted for, you can always resit the exam. Of course you will lose a bit of money, and time. I know it can be frustrated too. But, always look on the bright side of life ...
