The pie charts illustrate how the three different countries deal with their hazardous waste, while the table shows the various sources of these waste materials.
It is clear that Malaysia and UK has the same plan in dealing with dangerous waste, by disposing. The USA disposes its hazardous waste in landfill. Most hazardous waste are plastic bags and the least are from electronics.
Half of the dangerous waste produced in USA are thrown in the landfill. As compared to Malaysia and UK, majority of their wastes products are just being disposed. The second most popular way of dealing with hazardous waste is by recycling, it accounts 25 percent in Malaysia, 30 percent in USA, and 40 percent in UK.
The waste products of these countries are mostly plastic bags, 30 – 60 mt, USA is the top generating country for these waste. The least dangerous products created come from electronics with below 14 mt, Malaysia has 7 mt only.
