Post by bench »

The bar chart compares the figures of pet owners in 6 different countries over a 9-year period.

It is clear that the figures for people who own pet fluctuated for all the six countries in the given period. The most number of pet owners occurred in 1994, whereas the lowest was the year after, 1995. The highest and the lowest pet ownership occurred in Europe, in Scotland and in Ireland, respectively.

Although the figures for pet owners considerably varies in all the year and in all six countries, however, a slight increase of 500,000 owners where still noted in the last year, 1998. The figures for pet ownership in the year 1990, 1995 and 1997 were the lowest, with below 800,000 owners. All other years (1991-1994, 1996, 1998) recorded an above 800,000 marks, with 1994 being the most number of ownerships, above 900,000.

In all countries given, it is still evident that the four highest pet owners where in Wales, Canada, Scotland and England, whereas the Ireland and America marked the lowest for all the years given.

It is clear that the figures for people who own pets fluctuated for all six countries in the given period. The highest number of pet owners occurred in 1994, whereas the lowest was the year after, 1995. The highest and the lowest pet ownership numbers occurred in Europe, Scotland and Ireland, respectively. (<--Highest and lowest figures occurred in 3 countries? This is confusing.)

Although the figures for pet ownership considerably varies throughout the study, a slight increase of 500,000 owners was noted in the last year, 1998. The figures for pet ownership in the years 1990, 1995 and 1997 were the lowest, with less than 800,000 owners in total. All other years (1991-1994, 1996, 1998) recorded above 800,000 owners, with 1994 having the highest number of ownership, above 900,000.

In all of the studied countries, it is evident that the four countrieds with the most pet owners were Wales, Canada, Scotland and England, whereas Ireland and America had the lowest number for all the years given.
